speakers for 3rg gen tegs
hey guys, the rear speakers on the integras are where the passenger's arm rest right. Im planning on getting a 3rg gen teg. but before i wanna know, u know the rear dash. (i think thats what tehy call it) u know how for the honda civics, the speakers are on the thingy on top, on the back of the passengers head.
what i wanna know, i wanna add 2 more speakers there, so what is that thing made of. and is there any metal or aluminium underneath. cause i wanna add 6x9's there, i plan on not puting my sub in the trunk cause i need the space for my work related equipement. so what i wanna know, i saw some pics on the net, that they put the speakers there, can some one help me with this. any pics of it and hwo it looks underneath thanks |

I believe someone on here did that and posted a thread with pictures and everything. they replaced the piece you are talking about with a piece of MDF and cut it to the same dimensions and then added 6x9's to it. i'll try and find it for reference for you, but if I can't find it look around in the threads about a year ago I believe.
Edit: found it http://http://www.automotiveforums.c...d.php?t=174452 just don't reply to it please, it is old and dead. ask general questions here and if you have a question for jakedrummer PM him (although I haven't seen him on in months)

yeah he just made a new one, I believe because the stock one is a little flimsy or at least his was and he wanted it to be a little stiffer. I believe it is just thin molded mdf board stock or at least thats what the one in my car appears to be.
