If it's a 16V, you probably have a B234F engine in the car and I think it have around 150 hp.

Why don't take a look in the manual?

Take a look in the engine bay, or on the engine block to check if it's a B234F. If it is I would guess it have around 150 hp. The B234F engine was also used in 740 and 940.

The B230F have a 8 valve top wich look like this http://home.swipnet.se/4banger-dragr...s/t-motor2.jpg

Pictures of a 16V top you can find on http://www.hunchbackracing.com
under pictures. Note that this too is painted in silver and sits on a b21 block.

is there a turbo on the 8 valve top in that picture?http://home.swipnet.se/4banger-drag...es/t-motor2.jpg

also, the over drive on my car acts more as a turbo then something that would conserve fuel. it increases the RPM's by 500 and adds 5 MPH from when I activate it and keep the pedal at the same level:bandit:

It's the 8 valve top, with turbo. The engineblock used is a B21 or B23, I'm not sure. The older B21 or B23 blocks are stronger than the newer B230.
But it's not directly a stock turbo, this engine have around 500 hp. But even with that power they are relativly cheap to build.
They can also be tuned up to over 1000 hp, but then I recommend the 16V top on a B21 or B23 block.

I don't think that my car has 500 hp and if it does then its hiding it somewhere. My car has no pick up what-so-ever and when I step on the accelerator it guzzles gas. Any ideas on whats causing this? Im cleaning the fuel injection and all the filters are new, but I put around 150 miles a week on my and its nothing rough so I don't know whats going on. The car has around 200k in miles:bandit:
