My Range Rovers
Iv'e had 3, an '88 SWB, a '95 LWB Classic, and an '01 4.6 HSE. All ahve been very reliable, and fun.
The '88 was teh most fun offroad, with it's short wheelbase and tight turning circle. The '95 was a good family car, that had the factory air ride replaced with coil springs before I bought it. When I finally sold it it had 120k miles on it and was still going strong, It just didnt' tow enough so we got the newer one. The '01 was great for towing our travel trailer: And we took it all over the east coast and over as far as northern Ohio to Cedar Point. It was also outstanding in the snow: YOu could rais up the air ride to it's highest setting and plow throgh seriously deep snow. As I mentioned in the other thread, I receently replaced all 4 air bags and installed a MARS manual air recovery system in it as an emergency override for the air compressor. I did the work myself in my driveway. It was cheap and easy to do and should give another hundred thousand miles of happy use. These have been wonderful vehicles for many, many years and I hope to have another one in the future.
