Gas got sprayed on my truck!
Recently was driving on the highway and a guy sped past me spewing gas out of his explorer and the gas sprayed down the passenger side of my vehicle. I always keep my truck waxed and the paint in nice shape, but now the paint where the gas hit is rough/gritty and looks like it has waterspots. I washed it and waxed it but it is still rough and spotty. I am not sure why this is, if it is some sort of build up on top of the paint or what. I used some bug and tar remover to try and get it off and it didn't do much. Any suggestions? Is there a product that will remove the roughness and spots caused by the gas?
