suggestion on amp and subs

i have an 89 camaro and i was planning on getting 2 12"rockford fostgates http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_...s.jsp?cid=1796
and a kenwood amp

does this sound good? I dont know too mcuh about systems but i know a little. I'm planning on building my own sealed box.



any other suggestions on what i should do....please give

My friend has that amp and uses it with 2 a1200Qs made by audiobahn, but that amp hits pretty constant at about 1400 watts at 1 ohm I am almost certain it would give those subs a hard time if not blow them earlier than wanted. and if you wire them at 4 ohms there won't be much power going to it. I would go with different subs. Clean sound look into elemental or Idmax, for SPL with moderate SQ look into audiobahns above in a sealed box.

thats a shit load of money for an amp. especially a kenwood. i mean they're not bad, there is better for the money, and you could get two alpine type-r's off ebay for the same money, or there is even a guy on here that is sellin' them for pretty cheap.

i have a rockford fosgate amp that i like a lot. its loud, and it sounds good. its a 300 watt punch amp that i bought used from a friend for $150. but thats not an outstanding deal, you aught to be able to swing a similer deal.
