Engine compatability?

I've been given the opportunity to buy a late 90's Deville witha cracked block for very little money. I have a '78 chevy 350 4 bolt main in the machine shop right now. I was wondering if the older 350 will bolt up to the northstar front-wheel-drive transaxle. I know I will have to make a few changes to make it work. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Engine compatability?

No, it won't bolt up. That, and with the electronics in the Deville, with the trans being computer controlled, it would be a real pain to get it all to work. The easiest thing to do is get another Northstar!
