Tamiya 1/6 Harley Fat Boy Lo
I started this kit when it was first issued and put it away, unfinished shortly after. I had also started a WIP thread here but it seems all the pics have disappeared so I'm starting a new one.
I pulled it back out of the stash this weekend in the hopes of actually finishing it. It almost there. More to come when Photo Bucket starts co-operating.

I still have a bunch of small details to finish off yet, indicators, mirrors etc. Thanks for looking. Regards, Dan.

Wow! Awesome build! Looks absolutely stunning.
Just curious, but what red paint did you use on this bike? //Paul |

Beautiful build of a beautiful kit. What parts did you paint beside the fenders and fuel tank?

I painted everything that isn't chrome plated or vinyl. All of the frame, swing arm, all black engine components, headlight nachelle, upper forks, oil tank etc. Its all painted in various black finishes , Flat, Semi gloss and full gloss as per the finishes on the real Fat Boy Lo. There is No bare plastic. Regards, Dan

Great to see one painted in a colour other than black, makes it look much better.

Aha...wondered if you might have sneaked in here Dan. As you know, I LOVE this build and you're to blame for my getting one. lol
Particularly liking the paint work mate, the orange-red glow surely shines . Cheers.
