2003 Ram 1500, Ignition Chipped key or Not?
Read on some other forums, gray key head=chipped. Black key head=no chip.
Can anyone confirm? Owners manual just states "you may have".. |

I found no mention of it in the '03 FSM.

I ask because the owner's manual states "may have". Went down to the local Lowes. They now have a new key cutting machine that will read the key if it has a chip in it. Told me mine didn't. So had one cut but have to check it tonight when I get home.
