intakes....

im lookin to buy an intake for my '99 dodge avenger ES 2.5L v6. i've been lookin around at a few sites and found a couple. which would you recommend getting? any info is appreciated. thanks.

Just look for one on Ebay. They are just the same as any other because people copy designs so much. With all the competition you can get an intake for pretty cheap. I recommend getting a true cold air intake that locates the filter down behind the fog light. The short ram air ones suck and they actually locate the filter next to the exhaust manifold and radiator making the intake air really hot which defeats the purpose. I also trust KN Filters and would replace the cheap one they include, later with a KN.
