Fujimi new Items
This is a link to Fujimi WEB news page
http://www.fujimimokei.com/hshow44/index.html The Good = Ferrari 550 12237-3 予価¥2740 and Ferrari 575M 12238-0 予価¥2740 The Bad = Ferrari F50 GT, 12239-7 予価¥41790 (the Price is very expensive, because is a resin kit) !!!! 1 resin kit is equal to 15 plastic kit. !!!!, really is very high the quality of a resin kit? Do you have any comment ? Regards |

Hey,
This should be on the main page. Fujimi sucks! Why do they make a really saught after kit in resin? Christ! They know the kit is gonna sell if they do it in plastic. !!!!!1...Ranting... Frank X. |

BTW, the Fujimi resin F50GT is fully assembled, it's not a kit-that's one reason it's so much $$.

Re: Fujimi new Items
Am I reading that right for the F50 GT - 41790yen? Must be a prebuilt for that price.
Fujimi have offered a few resin kits lately, I imagine they are distributing someboy elses work. It must be cheaper from a licensing point of view given the smaller numbers likely to be involved. Resin is a completely different ketle of fish to injection molded kits. It's not a question of quality (cause they usually aren't great) rather the rarity of the subjects. 100 to 200 dollars is a pretty common price range for 1/24th resin kits. |

Re: Fujimi new Items
Let's just be happy that the 550 and 575 aren't resin kits. F50GT transkit might be hard to find now, but old Pantera kits show up on auction often.

Re: Fujimi new Items
Yesss!!!!! Pretty cool that it includes opening doors and some engine detail.
And its coming to the market soon (whereas Revell takes forever). Let's just hope its not too rushed like the 458. |

Re: Fujimi new Items
Real customers won't be able to drive the real car by November...so I hope Fujimi isn't rushing it too badly.
But the level of detail and the price are a lot more realistic than expected, considering it's 1000 yen less than Fujimi's new Lambos. Big question is will Revell do one? Theirs would be undoubtedly less $$, at least in Europe and the US, but enough less $$ to matter, since the Fujimi kit has engine detail and likely properly-sized wheels/tires? Time will tell...but at least this is a sign that Fujimi is actually attempting to compete w/Revell by adding engine detail and pricing it more competitively than one would expect.

Re: Fujimi new Items
and don't forget the opening doors too! At least we know the wheels and brakes will be more realistic than a Revell Version. I'd like to see Revell do the FF and the SLS convertible.

Re: Fujimi new Items
I'm left wondering if Aoshima will come out with a F12 and trump Fujimi like they did with the Aventador

Re: Fujimi new Items
Sounds like the F50GT kit is completed and painted. I'd love to see Fujimi make the Mclaren P1.

Re: Fujimi new Items
This one looks as though it could do a decent job; doesn't look very curbside at all. Added to wish list
