Just want to share some info.

I just joined this forum and read a thread where someone dissed a zx2, and I have some news for them.

I have had a 2000 zx2 for 1.5 years and I have won many races with it.
The only race I ever lost was against my cousin who has a 85 monte carlo ss with a 305, and I only lost that race by a couple of inches.
(Of course that is all thanks to the fact that I have been driving standard transmission cars since I was 3 years old.)
My zx2 is all stock for now. All of that will change when I return from Turkey in 14 months.

Catch ya at the finish line.

i dont mean to put you down or anything, but the zx2 you raced probably had an inexperienced driver in it.
By the way what type of enginge did you have in your bronco? I used to have a bronco myself until some inexperiened jackass hit me head-on at a light.

Not to be a dousche, but are you bragging about beating a TBI 305? The TBI 305 only laid down a mind bogging 160 or so HP at the wheels, and thealmost 2 ton Monte Carlo body doesnt help

If he was running 16s in a zx2 then he must not have been as experienced as you thought. I run mid 15s in my stock zx2.

I don't remember exactly what type 305 it had in it. All I know is that he has a 85 monte carlo ss with a 305 that he has made a few mods to. I think the last check he did he was running at about 250ish on the hp.

Re: Just want to share some info.

the guy in the zx2 was an experienced driver, although he had some fat b*tch in the passenger seat, and our altitude it right at sea level, and i run 15s in the bronco

Re: Just want to share some info.

how can you hit 15's? the 95 lightning had more power and barely hits 15

Re: Just want to share some info.

it surprised the hell out of me, with a full tank of gas and a passenger it ran mid 16s, so the next week i went back with only a few gallons of gas and i broke 15s
