Re: Books on the Mclaren - Which ones to get and why

When I was at Silverstone classic a couple
of weeks ago, I saw the Gulf covered GTR book on Chaters stand. I asked how much & chap said £400!
Out of interest I looked on their website. Raven59,which I got for £190, a few weeks back on e-bay,was for sale at £550!!!!!
They had some of the summer tour books also. Prices are out of my reach, even though I am a massive fan of McLaren
Prices are going crazy!
Just been sorting through all my GTR & McLaren magazines, foreign& English,& think a lot off these articles featured are just as collectable & interesting

Re: Books on the Mclaren - Which ones to get and why

This is my first post on the forum.

Does exist a book about the McLaren F1 GTR with all informations about :

- racing results,
- history of each chassis,
- list of pilots,
- pictures of all décorations
- etc...

http://www.autocar-magazine.co.uk/fr...en-f1-roadcar/

Autocar has a deal on the digital copy of McLaren's Road Car with a subscription. I always wanted the physical copy of the book and I am thinking of buying the digital copy.

Are there any scans of this book available or PDF documents already?

The book itself is relatively cheap and quite often on eBay. I haven't heard of a pdf version though

Re: Books on the Mclaren - Which ones to get and why

I have a set of scans but they are low resolution and don't include every single page. I forget where they came from but at one point they would have been most certainly shared on this forum or at least linked from here.

This offer from AutoCar is probably second only to having the actual book, which copies of appear often and reasonably priced on Ebay.
