For ONCE can someone answer this: Broken Rear Gate (not glass)

I give up.

When we worked on my truck the first time, my dad took the cover off the gate and I took pictures. In the meantime, we've changed service providers in the office and neither I nor the handy IT guy can get my pictures back. Not just the gate shots - ALL of my pictures.

Saturday, we worked on my truck again and I had dad take the cover off of the gate. I took pictures of both the spider assembly repair job and the gate. I have SOME of the spider replacement pictures, but not all of them are on the camera. NONE of the gate pictures are on the camera this morning.

You can dismiss me as a useless poster now. I give up.

well i called the number, got the fax, not alot of help only shows how to replace the module..............aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

i need to get it open first, ok one more week and i am going to get out the cutting tools and perform surgery from the inside.

PLEASE SAVE MY JIMMY, HE IS GOING TO DIE WITHOUT HELP

Perfect, this man is my hero, thank you so much, got it open, made a manual lock unlock, will try to repair it this weekend, think it is a short. it actually worked a couple of times when i was messing around inside. Hopefully i can take it out and get it to work again, if not anyone know where i could order a new one? At least now i have all the instructions for replacing it.lol

Chris: I don't know if it is the same as the rear window lock actuator I replaced in august on my '97, if it is it has a tiny electric motor inside the housing. Probably dealer only item or a junk yard.
