Note that bike is on a "DRY" track The tire" or wheel is mounted backward in the picture. Surely there is someone out there that actually rode a bike before that can confirm my statement?? As I stated before on a dry track we used to mount the Dunlop 364 treaded DOT race tire backwards at times so we could use up all the rubber on the tire as they were so expensive being made in the UK back in the 90's. Many tracks have way more corners going one direction that the other and it wears down the one side of the tire - if you then remount the tire backwards you can get the use of the other half - which is what we did back in the day and I am guessing so did the bloke with this bike in the picture provided by stratos?? still look at the tire sipes and the direction of travel forward - c'mon guys this is NOT rocket science. The tire is mounted backards regardless of the picture of the bike on the track - Cheers John surely there are some pics out there with a R1-M that is NOT on a track - some pics of a street R1-M in the wet? someone there in the UK have any real world pics? Cheers John |
