sonata dealer recommendation v/s bulletin
Yes, a bulletin or recommendation what is the difference? I bought a new 2001 sonata 4 cyl auto loaded and==at 30k they the dealer says I need a transmission fluid drain and flush and new filter, now my manual says if I tow a boat trailer I should change it at 105K, I called the manufacturer and they called my dealer and it sounds like the dealer is looking for some business, because they wanted me to pay $140.00 for this service and because its a recommendation not a bulleton,My warrantee for 100k wont cover itif I dont spend the $140.00 for the fluid change,When I bought the car I wasn't informed on this unexpected fee every 30k to keep my 100K warrantee valid, Who can I call to get this paid for by Hyundai, why should I have to eat it? Thanks Mr Ron- ronplanes@cs.com

It Sounds Like The Dealer!
Dis sounds like the dealer is just trying to make some money off the uninformed people who buy these fine cars.
I have a Sonato and have had it since 1998 and my dealer takes care of almost everything that ever goes wrong with this car. Yes I have a few mods on my ryde and he (the dealer) even overlooks them when I come in for check-ups... I'd get ahold of Hyndai service on there 1-800 # and ask them about the procedure on this...
