Question Ignition Lock Cylinder on a 4th Gen

TRYING to install a remote start and need to see the ignition wires. Can anyone tell me how to remove that cylinder shaped panel around the steering column protecting the ignition cylinder? Anyone ever hooked up a remote start for a 4th gen ?? (I have a Viper 790XV)

John,

This is sorta what im looking for but what im really aimin for is removing the cover over the ignition wires so I can trace them, Im trying to find an "ignition switch harness" the two wires?? and i was unsure so im trying to locate them just by looking above. Its the wires that go from the key insertion to the VATS System.
