Plymouth Breeze Heater

My vents are stuck in defrost mode, I cant switch to floor or other vents. What could be the problem. 1996 Plymouth Breeze

it could be the control knob, since it's electrically controlled it may not be making a connection, I would suggest pulling out the heater control and check the plug on the back first.

then if that doesn't help, you could take the unit out and try opening it up and clean the contact points.
