Working on: Lamborghini Miura SV

Hello,

I've been working in this project in the time between coats of the XJR-9 (I hope I'll start setting decals tonight or tomorrow). It's from Hasegawa, at the moment I've finished the interior:

Any comments and suggestions will be very apreciated.

Regards

Re: Working on: Lamborghini Miura SV

Lovely detail - can't wait to see the car - possibly the most beautiful car design ever!
Really nice interior though, the seats look very nice against the different black of the back. Mats look really good as well!
Vents and dials as well!

Good looking interior. What color is the body going to be?

Re: Working on: Lamborghini Miura SV

I though I would paint it in red with lower parts in gold, but I think that painting it in red is a bit boring. This car has been seen in so much attractive colours that I have to think about it yet...

What about green? or orange perhaps...

Anyone knows some reference for that green?

Regards

Super-clean interior! I love the different shades and sheens of the materials, top-notch work.
As for the color, red may be old-hat, but it would sure look cool with the gold lowers. I believe Cobra Colors has most (if not all) of the factory colors for this car, including the green.

Great Work!

Looks good so far. Welcome to AF!

That green is a killer color. I built mine in orange, and it's my favorite model of mine. It looks good in any color though.

Most of these builds can be seen by performing a search on this forum. We built Miuras/Jotas as a club project for our model show in 2004.

Hafta agree- forget the red. Would be a shame with so many other cool factory options for the Miura.

Check out Cobra Colors, and scroll to the bottom of the list- all Miura colors.

CADguy- You're model club is much cooler than the local one here....

Cobra Colors charts look impressive, the problem is that I'm from Spain and they don't ship out of US. I don't think they'll have any distributor here.

Awesome interior! So clean, so perfect! What an outstanding job!

I have actual Lamborghini PPG paint chips. They offer two similar green colors. One being Verde Miura and the other Verde Miura Mica which is a metallic color.

PM me if you can't read the codes from the pics below.

Your Miura build is looking great so far. Any color you choose will look good on this beautiful car.
