Remove Resonator?

Hey guys, i have some questions about resonators... 1st - Is there 2 resonators, a Air resonator and Exhaust resonator? Ok... if there is an exhaust resonator, can someone tell me what it looks like and how to remove it properly? Also, i know that a resonator only supresses sound, so my 96 Vtec Accord I4 w/ no mods wont be louder than the regulation will it? i Live in Texas. thanks a lot.

You have one resonator. It's in the exhaust. You could remove it, but it won't sound as good one, and two, the gains won't be that much. I would just recommend getting a muffler or whole exhaust to provide better performance. I'm against removing just the resonator.

yes you should gain some HP's. by removing a resonator, you are freeing up the airflow. therefore the engine is able to burn more fuel in a given time, thus making some more power.
