1997 Chevy S10 4.3 Auto trans

I have a 1997 chevy s10. Speedometer stopped working..abs lights come on once in awhile and wont shift into other gears. I have replace speed sensor, computer, wheel sensor and ignition switch assembly. Im out of ideas..please help. thanks.

im not sure if those use a speedometer cable or a electronic sensor in plae of it that drives the speedometer but i would suspect a bad cable or speedometer drive sensor

no cable on this one. already changed speedo drive sensor. thanks.

might be speedometer itself then, would have to check for a voltage or pulse to it

How would i check that? Today i tired another pcm. Still no luck. Has any one had this problem? Please help.

Get a scanner on it and see if the pcm sees mph, then post back.

sorry for the long wait everyone. Had to order a fuel pump because it stopped turning on. Installed it but now its smoking real bad and it looks like its spitting fuel from tail pipe and smells like fuel..? What could cause this...its just getting worse. So what im doing next for the speedo not working and kicking in gears is to replace the cluster and maybe the whole entire engine wire hardness. Any idea on the smoke and leaking fuel? Thanks.
