86 d 50 wont start
Tried to start it and the "EGR" (?) light comes on but still won't start. Anybody know what the problem could be?

Exactly that. Something is wrong with the EGR system. It means "exhaust gas recirculation", and it's a system that takes some volatile exhaust fumes and puts them back into the combustion chamber to be burned up, it's supposed to be environmentally friendly. If this clogs up then you have problems.
You'll have to probably change the EGR valve, and purge the emissions canister as well, and clean all passages. Not fun.

Re: 86 d 50 wont start
It's like a cylindrical container where the unburnt emissions are stored. If it plugs up then it will have to be emptied. I couldn't do mine myself so I had a mechanic do it. All of that emissions stuff is bullshit, I wouldn't be surprised if it was mob related. It's just a system that is always having trouble, and comes with a never-ending paper trail. I hate it.
