man you thought this was alot of bitching, try mentioning the V8 swap in a RX-7 forum... its not such a bad idea really, but is it cost effective?

granted, this is from a video game website in an article about GT4, but still.
"In keeping with the agreement, Nissan lied and said that the Skyline GTR only put out 280 ps. However, when strapped to a dyno, it is clear that this number is very low. Figures in the low-to-mid 300 ps range seem to be the norm for the R34 GTR. Despite the already high power output of the stock engine, it is stupid easy to get another few hundred horsepower with no reliability problems. Skylines with over 600 ps roam the streets of Japan everyday, eating Ferraris and Porsches for lunch on the Wangun. You can add that to the list of why we want to live in Japan." so ok 30 seconds of google searching and thats what i get. honestly i take ign.com's word over yours about skylines

B) The R32 in SCC had oil starvation problems during Sweepers. Recently a local managed to get a rod to punch off his oil filter housing on one of your beloved LS1s. does that mean all of em will do it? Please... Continue to try and argue using fallicys, blind bias and irrelevant statements. (I like how you completely avoided the VK arguement) you think your the hot shit when you tramp all over people with BS but the moment someone shows up and schools you you get butt hurt and cry foul. |

I'm sure that the best GT-R tuners of the world all hang out in Fresh Alloy.

Of coarse its over priced they are only making 50 of em to begin with Times way to fast for 500HP... Makes Since since a 12 from a "276"HP Vehicle "is way too fast" Quote:
(its still an argument between a 1yr old truck motor with less displacemnet vs a SBC with 50yrs behind it) Either way Id rather see a VK/VH series motor in a 240SX than an LS1 simply because they sound better. Have gone over 800WHP on the stock bottom end (VH41) then theres a guy that punched his out and is making a little over 550WHP N/A... |

Another thing...
If the 305 HP is referring to a VK...How do you know what a VK will make off of an Intake? And also VK = not performance oriented. And if its directed towards the RB26 well of course an intake on a 5.7L engine will make more HP off an intake then say a 2.6L engine. Its called common sense...Higher flow of air relates directly to more power...

Re: 240sx with small block v8?
wait a sec...you just got done saying the ls1 is a 50 yr old motor now you say its a brand new design made just a couple years ago?
this is why no one takes your arguments seriously you pull stupid random facts out of your ass and your argument changes all the time and you avoid topics like shit. maybe you should retake high school debate class. you obviously showed up coked out every day.
