Colin McRae's '98 Subaru Impreza Monte Carlo Rally

these are the only pics I have at the minute, don't have my proper camera. But yeah, gave it some weathering for snow/dirt, rather happy with the end result. I'll be uploading better pics ASAP. Comments and criticisms appreciated!

The weathering looks good, and it looks like a nice job!

Some comments: I would clear over the decals before weathering, that way you don't get the difference in weathering texture between paint\decals. Maybe make the weathering mixture a little 'chunkier' by mixing in talc or some such, and stippling it with a stiff brush.

You might want to touch up that rear license plate too.

Nice job this time around though!

Nice job on a must have rally car, but I would say your weathering doesn't really seem accurate to me (perhaps not your main goal ) as modern MC rallies are more muddy than snowy and even when snowy cars are covered by a dark snow/rain/mud soup; it should be darker to me, even if it's hard to correctly capture the weathering tones and shades.

Haha thanks for your advice, I don't particularly go for realism to be honest, I go with whatever I like and think looks good.

Got my camera so some indoor pics, tomorrow outdoor ones.

Thanks for looking

I agree with rallymaster

no offence pal, but if " I go with whatever I like and think looks good" then why ask for an advice and criticism?
the main thing, to my understanding, is that YOU like it

my personal opinion is that the dirt does not look very realistic due to aerodynamics laws

moreover snow/dirt + slick tyres means a Monte-carlo rally (correct me if i'm wrong)
please google the pics of monte-carlo rally cars to compare

I ask that meaning more along the lines of build quality, not necessarily 100% authenticism.
