Xanavi Nismo Z JGTC
Ok, this is a project that lots of members keep PM me for a thread to show it, but I have to stress it that this is not the correct version that run on JGTC 2004 . When I'm building it, all I have is only a front pict and the rest, I had to image how it look, so it might let some of you laugh on my Z33 GT, but please, I mean if you only got 1 pict and no where to get any others...please understanding it is not a easy way to build a model.
When I had primed my model, then I found picture that with a rear view... I sat down and told my friend, that I want to quite on it because it's wrong build and if I show this to crowd, what I get maybe is "I'm a joker to them". Anyway he told me to finish it, but at least,"You are crazy to build it." Enjoy. The chassis had been lengthen. Rollcage- I used Tamiya Xanavi R34 and shorten it to fit into Tamiya 350Z cockpit. What you can see is... Rollcage-R34, cockpit, dashboard and doors-Z33. the crazy(or sick) part is here...Body! I cut both body(Xanavi R34 and Z33 road) to pieces and then join back to look like these: After gluing all parts together, I leave it for 2 days before putty up and sand it down to shape as you can see here, The rear is really hard to build because lack of photos and lots of putty. The figure is there because it suppose to be a pitstop diorama. and here is after sanding most of the parts and only a few putty up parts. Straight after the primed section, then I found some rear view pict... and yes, there's is the step I try to quite and keep it away from display. But... I completed it. |

Here's the version that with the livery decals on.
Carbon fiber and Carbon kelvar decal were used in all area. Decal are original Tamiya decal. Only thing left is the GT wing. It will fix anytime, but because I secure it in a tamiya box, so I will not glue the GT wing yet. All materials used: Tamiya R34 Xanavi, Tamiya 350Z Tamiya Pla-Plate 0.3 and 0.5mm Sakatsu JGTC Atenna, Computer switches and warning lamp. ST27 seatbelt, Carbon kelvar decal ST27 R34 Xanavi photo-etch parts BBR carbon fiber decal Rtuned |

stisnan... you mean is this 'Z' my first body making? This is my first cut and paste model second is Airtrek turbo as you see at my signature.
nismo man...don't worry much. As long this year, they win a '2004 Champion" for team and driver, Tamiya will be releasing this and Calsonic or maybe Z'ox too. Actually I think about these few JGTC car to build... NSX ('02-'04) Garaiya GT300 McLaren F1 'Yellow Corn' New Subaru '04 Murcielago R-GT 'JLoc and Amprex' BMW E46 'Amprex' Diablo 'Nomad' Amemiya Aspara RX-7FD ....but...still can't find much interior reference in the web. OMG, it is awesome. You should send your resume to Studio27 and looking for a space in there.

Re: Xanavi Nismo Z JGTC
This is pure crazyness! I've no word to express how impressed I am!
It doesn't matter if it's accurate or not: is simply stunning, unbelievable, and looks even better than the real thing! What a shape! (edit: the step between the doors glasses and the side ones looks like a good idea! It sure doesn't look like a mistake! Nice effect! ) That's the craziest custom job I've ever seen! Oh god! You should have a design award for that! A modeling award too! Do you plan to make molds and duplicate it? This is the best Z human eyes have ever seen! It's one after midnight here... I'm going to sleep. Sure I'll dream of that godess!
