2001 - 325i Fan Belt Diagram Help
Hello,
I have 2001 321i which was not holding a charge and I am guessing the alternator is shot so I ordered a new one last week, I had already taken out the old one and I though I would just go get a new one from the dealer, NOT! $380 from the dealer or $190 online.... So it's been a week and now for the life of me remember how the fan belts goes back? No diagram under the hood like most american cars have. I would have my BMW repair guy do the work but the car would not stay running more than 10 minutes, so I could not get it to him. Car just turned 5 and has 50K miles on it and is like new condition and now starting to have little problem after little problem! Time to get rid of the Bummer Thanks |

Re: 2001 - 325i Fan Belt Diagram Help
Here is a picture of the 325i belts. The outer belt is the AC belt.
My 325i has been trouble free from about 35k till now (77k). I had some problems while the car was under warrenty. Mainly window regulators and the cam position senors, and themostat. Once these items were replaced, the car has been basically trouble free. Anthony |
