It's an interesting item, but not something that I'd be interested in owning - especially at that price. Given the time involved in building it, I'd say it's worth that much, just not to me.

I have all three colors of the UT F1 road car in 1/18th scale as I'm sure many others here do. If you're thinking of getting the dark silver, it's very nice, but personally I think the car looks best in the green.

If you need me to, I can post some comparison photos of the three sometime this weekend. I've been meaning to take some shots of them anyway.

ER

EDIT: I just noticed that the museum kit isn't really built already. That means you're just getting the pieces and it would still need paint which I would probably ruin.

Re: Would u pay $130 for this

i'll prolly look out and prolly buy some models wen i get a job and after i have done up my pc and bike,i'll be looking for a GTR Long Tail and a GTR Short,a Road car,a GT and is there is an LM prolly by that also.

I would go for this Short tail

Looks worth it

I agree that it appears to be worth the asking price as the detail looks quite good. I prefer the ones that are all in one piece. It would be great for a diorama or some type of racing display.

I concur ... it is well worth the money.

However, you'd have to have the abilities of, or access to, a highly skilled modelmaker if you were to buy it. Otherwise ... it'd be a waste of money.
