help help!!!
ok it's an electrical issue.... my dumbself was trying to wire some stuff up and i touch the 12v constant with the wrong wire under the dash, so now when i turn the headlight knob to on... nothing comes on, no headlights,no foglights, or taillights, or the dashlights, you know how your able to turn the lights on with the keys out of the ignition, yeah they won't come on even then, but when i put the key in on , if i hit the high beams they do come on but i have to hold it, they won't stay on, and the turn signals work too, but nothing else comes on.... i don't know what to do??? i have checked evey single fuse possible, under the hood and inside the car.... i think it has to do with the head light switch itself.... is there a fuse under the steering column for the headlight switch itself, or will i have to repaced the whole piece???

Re: help help!!!
I had a similar problem a couple months back. How did you check the fuses, manually by just looking, or with an actual test light or volt/ohm meter? My problem ended up being the LAMP fuse under the hood got fried, hopefully it's simple like that for you too, so make sure you check all fuses and relays correctly with a test light or meter. If nothing, you're most likely going to have to trace through all the wiring and connections to see what/where you burnt. Good luck man.

Re: help help!!!
It really should be a fuse, the whole point of the fuses is to protect the actual switches/relays etc. in an instance like yours. sometimes there is only a hairline fracture so make sure to get a tester (its cheap at wal mart and usually comes in the assorted fuse pack).
best of luck!

Re: help help!!!
Look for hte tail light fuse. I did the same thing awhile back...I'm almost sure it's under the hood, a 10A blue one.

Re: help help!!!
problem solved!!!!!!!well first if all it sucks because it wasn't a fuse, well i tested everything and it turned out i had fried the headlight switch itself, so i just unplug it from the harness under the dash and went and to a junk yard and found a stealth and got the switch, plugged it up and it worked!!!!

Re: help help!!!
Lesson learned here kids.. If you are doing ANY wiring, unhook the battery.
