P0421 (emissions leak small) and P0176 (running rich)

hi all, i just bought a 626 with the 2.0 and 5 spd, and i love it so far.

there's one problem. while i was driving it to work today, the check engine light came on... scanned it when i got to work and found codes P0421 (evap emissions control leak [small]) and P0176 or 174 or 147 or something.. i cant remember, but it was telling em that my engine was running too rich. the light came on, and these two codes came on at the same time i suspect...

before i get a bunch of responses telling me to tighten the gas cap, i've already tried that

my temporary inspection is almost expired (i hate new york if you're thinking about moving here don't.. everything is worse than it is in your state guaranteed) so i need to get my years' inspection taken care of pretty soon, and it won't pass until that MIL is out.

i've been on these forums for my old oldsmobile before and you were all a tremendous help. thanks a lot!!!
