Hold up, even with a b16 in the crx the car will still only go 115 mph? Is this the same for an 89 crx, cause i got my stock Si up to 110 mph racing my friends del sol on the highway, and i was kinda hoping that with a b16 i could hit like 130 or 140. I know that its stupid to go that fast on the highway, but there was like no traffice except a few tractor trailers, we were racing at like 11:30 at night. Is there any way to get rid of the govern?

JDM B16A ECUs are speed governed at 180 km/h. Dunno what that works out to in those funny archaic measurements you use

I can hit 180 and at 184 it is just held there with a couple of thousand RPM left over.

yeah its in the si... i sold the dx a while ago, juss didn't remove it from my sig. and as for the cam, well i raced a neon R/T and the guy would consistenlty take my by about 2 cars or less, after the cam i gained 2-3 cars on the guy, so it was a pretty good gain

In modern measurements Ive run my CRX to 215 but with the new box in it I have only been able to stroke out a 195km/hr top.

I own an MX-3 GS model...mine's a 92 model... it's got alot of torque and power in the higher gears... I've raced only once on the highway, agains a 92 civic coupe and blew it away... I've read my car can hit up to 130mph at 6,600rpm but the car redlines at 7,000... but I want more power than I got and plan on droping an MX-6 V6 in so I have 200hp.... but overall... street racing is over rated... the high speeds on the highway and all... too many cops and such... I haven't run that on the highways since.. besides it's cheeper to do the speed limit.. lol but if you want to have some serious racing and require more technique than HP race on the mountain and back roads.
