Re: Ignition Complaints to CHEVY to get recalls

Well, since GM can't make money on selling cars what better way then to soak currant owners $400-$700 at a time. This isn't just an Impala issue but ALL GM CARS WITH THE PK2 system.

Re: Ignition Complaints to CHEVY to get recalls

I've had four or five Chevys before this, and never buy another GM car again. Went to my car where it was parked and found that my family and I were stranded. The ignition key would not turn. This problem with the ignition will be the death of someone one someday, leaving them somewhere they don't want to be. Called a Chevrolet customer service rep at 1-800-222-1020 and was told to have the car towed to a dealership at my cost, and will be carged $102 just to have the car checked out, and parts and labor was expected to cost over $500 more dollars. What great customer service, and they wonder why GMC is going out of business.
