D16Z6 engine rebuild
Getting the block and head tonight. The plan is to completely rebuild the engine and make it a performance engine. I've taken apart engines before but never rebuilt them. And like I said, I do NOT plan on rebuilding a stock engine. I want a performance engine with better internals.
Can you guys... Make me a list of EVERYTHING I am going to need in parts. Also, if any of you know of any good references I could use that would be awesome! And try to make it as barney style as possible. Like I said I have never done this before so my comprehension isnt that great.

Re: D16Z6 engine rebuild
These aren't specifically for a D16Z6, they are for a B18C1, so the specs will be different, but it will give you a general idea:
http://articles.evans-tuning.com/200...-a-gsr-engine/ http://articles.evans-tuning.com/200...e-build-video/ You'll also need to get a Helms service manual (Honda's official service manual). |
