90 Prelude transmission problem shifting

Hello, The vehicle: 90 p'lude 2.0 SI, 5 speed, 248k miles--yes and still running strong!!
lately the transmission is having problems shifting into the gears at revs higher than 2500+. When cold it shifts good at lower rpm's, but when it warms up it's like I have to really push hard to get into the upper gears. I changed the trans juice-wasn't dirty looking but thought it might help-replacing it with a 10-30 engine oil as I was told to do so. No difference. I have to dbl clutch the shifting to get into higher gears when warm.

QUESTION: Does this sound like the syncros are getting tired? I want to hold onto the car still but dont know where to look--the engine was replaced at 154k and have rcpts that the clutch was done too. Does this sound like the clutch might be going? I replace the slave cylinder and hose from firewall block below to the slave-have bled the system a few times lately and no fixin. The cylinder is full of brake fluid too. The Master Cylinder isn't leaking around the inside firewall either. Don't know where to go next--any help will be appreciated--thanks for your time.

Re: 90 Prelude transmission problem shifting

I have a 90 prelude 2.1 si 5 speedand had a similar problem a couple years back.the problem ended up being the clutch line coming from the slave cylinder located near the front passenger side of the engine. It turns out that the line can deteriorate to the point where air can get in ,but fluid can't get out, causing your clutch system to lose that punch it takes for smooth shifting. But if you are losing fluid I would change the master. p.s. don't go by look's mine didn't look bad but it was. good luck.
