piston question??
well i have a sohc and i don't want to do any type of forced induction, so i was wondering would it be possible to boost the compression ratio with like dohc pistons or custom pistons??? well i do know that the dohc pistons have four little ridges due to 4 valves per cylinder but i just want to know if it would be possible... and if you can increase the compression ratio on the sohc, what else wut i need to do to make it work, would i need to modify the sohc heads also??

Re: piston question??
No the DOHC pistons wont work because of the valve reliefs.
And dont go wasting your money on trying to increase compression ratio. You will have a metric shitton invested and not gain much power at all.
