grand am gt vs alero gls.......
ok guys please forgive me, as iam a newbie to this. So if iam in the wrong forum please redirect me. Ok im 17 and currently have a 91 talon tsi fwd..it was alot of fun and still is......tons of jam at any speed. 220kph+ topspeed and its stock. ok anyway now it has no first gear missing marker light screwed up pop up lights.....ect tipical dsm. anyway im getting rid of it and my grampa who is helping me wants me to get somthing like am alero or grand am. But the problem is i want ....no i need speed! So i guess what iam really trying to say is i dont want a sunfire or cavy, but i need some reliability, and jam so does anyone out there no about these cars??? all i know is that the v6 gt and gls are a 3.4 170hp 4spd auto and 0-60 around 7.7-7.9 seconds and a 1/4m around 15.7-16 "witch isnt up to tsi standards" but would it be able to roast some cars.....eg buddies acura 3.0cl v-tech pretty quick but, any performance info, kill stories stuff like that would be greatly apretiated...oh ya is there any way to bypass the governer? 110MPh is kinda lame thanx guys!

well, bypassing the governor won't win you any races
there are a lot of performance parts available for it, virtually everything you can imagine from rsm, mantapart, and a few other companies.

How many of these things are you planning on posting?
Under 'Cars in General' there is a 'car comparison' section. You can post there, or in the non-specific racing section, or in the alero section, or in the grand am section. This is drag racing. Please look before you post, and PLEASE don't post the same question multiple times.
