Jobs/Careers in Auto Racing
My name is Jordan Iglesias and I am new to this forum. I am writing this post to find out different ways of establishing a career in the Auto Racing industry. I have been blasting out my resumes to as many of the auto racing teams, sponsors, venders, etc. as possible in hopes to get an interview. Auto racing is my passion and I would love nothing more than to bring my passion, work experience, work ethic, and education to this industry. I attended my very first race at the age of 4 at Riverside, CA. Ever since then I have been hooked and have been to at least 1 or 2 races per year. I have received a couple of opportunities within the karting industry but nothing to my liking. I am willing to relocate for an opportunity within the auto racing industry. If anyone is looking for someone like myself for a job/career please contact me. If anyone has any suggestions about finding opportunities within the industry please advise. Look forward to hearing from you.

Do you have any experience? If not check out WyoTech or UTI. I know for sure that UTI has a NASCAR program, not sure what WyoTech offers but I hear good things.

Re: Jobs/Careers in Auto Racing
riverside eh... ive watched that on tv (old nascar race), i thought it was awesome. actually, karting is a great place to start, tons of people start there. for instance... jeff gordon. hes not exactly a bad driver. but if you dont have experience, a racing school would definatly be a great start. if you have a good source on money, you can build a late model car and race it, do well and hope you get noticed by someone. that would get pricey though.

Re: Jobs/Careers in Auto Racing
I am not necessarily looking to drive although that would be the dream. I am just looking to work as a part of the industry in some way, shape, or form.
Thanks for the replies, Jordan |
