Re: A couple vids on a turbo charged TA
I like the STS kits. The people who object always talk abut the heat being to low back there, or the tubing being to long, or the gas tank being so close. If they would read the website, all of those issues are moot.
Now you can still not like it being close to the tank, no big deal. But they show that these things aren't truly an issue. I would go STS if I went turbo, but I think you should get new cats when you put them on, thats the only true issue I think is the cats coming apart.

Agreed. Read the FAQ on the STS website, I can assure you to 99% that all of your questions will be answered.

Re: A couple vids on a turbo charged TA
you could eliminate the need for an intercooler since the pipe has to go so far?couldnt you as long as you kept the boost fairly low that is 8psi or so. i might have read that somwhere but i dont remember

Re: A couple vids on a turbo charged TA
Low boost = low temps, or at least lower. The longer tubes act like an intercooler, lowering your temps some.
