Stuck in park E350 460 engine
My gear is stuck in park. I press on the the brake to release it, but it won't move.

Ran into an F 250 the other day same problem. Check to see if it has brake lights. If it doesn't it might be a brake light switch. Or one of the wires going to it. There is an electric solenoid that releases the shift mechanism when applying the brake.

On the brake pedal, there is a conector that connects on the switch...there are two green wires on it. I just fixed a 1998 Expedition with the same problem. What i did was removed the plastic piece and put two blade connectors on it and connected it back to the two pronges on it. It's an easy fix but it's a pain in the ass working an a small area...if you need help on this you can email me at mike_b49431@yahoo.com
