HELP! 95 Tracker won't restart when hot!

When the weather is over 90 degrees or so, with the A/C on, the 95 tracker might not recrank, or it might even go dead at an idle. The starter is turning the engine fast, just no running. Wait about 20 minutes and it cranks and runs perfectly. I have a feeling it's electrical, but not sure. I really would appreciate some advice. Thanks!

Re: HELP! 95 Tracker won't restart when hot!

I recommend replacing the following... spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor and the ignition coil. It should be cheaper than taking it to a garage. If this doesn't fix your issue then you might want to have a mechanic look at it.

Re: HELP! 95 Tracker won't restart when hot!

Is there an electronic component inside the distributor that could be getting too hot and losing contact?
