Re: A couple F575 EVO II: Gio and Richy's new girls
Another fantastic project and build-up Thread. Itīs very interesting to read all this. Are you guys working on the new "AF modelling thread of the year award" as well? Fun aside - the liveries look interesting and painting this must be hard but satisfying with the results you both achieved.
Keep the work up. Robert

Re: A couple F575 EVO II: Gio and Richy's new girls
Thanks a lot guys!!!!! I appreciated so much.
Zeljko, my old friend, I'm quite happy to heard something from you! This remind me ever old sweet src' board time, when I started my adventure of "virtual modeler" and found around my first friends . Ciao and best wishes from Italy! And not forget to jump in Sasa's back seat this summer so we'll finally meet in HR for a (not virtual) big beeeeeeeeer in the seaside

Wow, double whammy! I'm deeply impressed, I'm already happy with getting a single colour on a model so, this masking madness is something to behold.

I'm slow on modeling lately because of job and my little girl, but I'm trying to follow at least forum from time to time. I hope so too that we will meet someday in live!

Re: A couple F575 EVO II: Gio and Richy's new girls
When I got clearcoat done I sanded down until Mesh 12.000, I leave polishing after the last clear coat, when decals job is complete.
I need to place other few decals, like the big DHL logo, but I must first finish hood's vents. For no the week end job: Alps decals are almost all applied double, and I overlayed 4 of the number's boards to achieve a decent white coverage.

Re: A couple F575 EVO II: Gio and Richy's new girls
Done something more: "carbonized" sideskirts and lights housing. Not difficult but long and tedious job: managing so long the bodyshell, even with the needed care, I "weathered" (LOL) a couple decals, luckily I have spare to overlay. Now I must finish front vents, apply big DHL decal and I'll do the last clearcoat and finally a decent polishing job.
Notice the ALPS decals texture: it will disappear with clearcoat polishing Back DHL decal done overlaying ink jet printed decal (yellow) and ALPS printed DHL logo Sideskirts: And finally let me to introduce the most exclusive (only 2 copies , than I destroyed files and masters) after market PE set in the world Not to say tha Tecnomodel kit need to be improoved but me and Ricky liked a deeper vision on few details: like the steering column backing, the awesome mirror, few others.
