Mobil 1 SC 2006
I started this one a few days ago. I spent the better part of the day designing and making the seatbelts. I don't have a photo etch set for the car so I also made some brake faces from brushed foil. I cut the rotor holes out and applied the foil over dark metallic paint. The seatbelts look pretty good but the installer was not at his best today.

Re: Mobil 1 SC 2006
I printed these are dark tshirt transfers. I peeled it off and used it as the belts. You can heat it to conform to the seats easily and it does stick with super glue or rubber cement. I should have put a sealer coat on them and I doubt I would have scraped the color a little at the buckles. I can send you a pdf file to print your own.

Re: Mobil 1 SC 2006
I will be watching this as I have built one approx 1,5 years ago
If you need reference WIP http://modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=155&t=56764 Finished http://modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f...lexus#p1107963 I don't know how detailed you want to build the car but I notcied that the real car has window trims carboned instead of black rubber. For my model I also did the wheelarches but in the final result they won't be visible However, you got great shiny paint on that SC |

I have not built in several years. (maybe 5) so I am just trying to build simple but mostly clean right now. It will take me some time to get back. It takes me twice as long to do anything than it used to. |
