I just read about the STS Cunningham Edition by Cadillac, so I went and looked up more about it. I think this looks awesome!
But, can you tell from that article if it's going to make it to production, or is it just going to be a limited production, pace-car-only sort of thing? I think it would be awesome to see some of these things on the road to compete (a little) with the M5. What do you think?

Actually, I read in a magazine that it was supposed to have 350hp, but I guess it doesn't.
I don't think it will see production...yet. Maybe with the new Sigma rear or all wheel drive platform, but not in the current front-driver. This is what one of the R&D guys told the magazine anyway. I think it is a neat idea, and would like to see a high-performance cadillac premium sedan (The Catera replacement, the CTS, is supposed to be really neat, a real 3-series fighter) Message to Cadillac: Build the STS Cunningham on the Sigma platform at the very least, maybe make it now. The faithful (as well as the young rich pricks) would love it. PS, look at Tim Allens TAP cadillac, it has 408 horsepower and is really drivable. Just an idea.

The picture included with that article is not of a "Cunningham Edition" STS, it's the Cadillac STSi that was used in Europe. I have not heard of any Cunningham Edition Cadillac, especially since Cunningham announced in January 2001 (this article dates back over a year before that) that they would produce their own car. The Cunningham car has nothing in common with the Cadillac Seville except, perhaps, they may share engines or engine parts.
The whole Cunningham project may be up in the air at the moment since Robert Lutz (former Chrysler Vice Chairman) is heading new products at General Motors. The next Seville isn't too far away and will feature RWD and more power...as you all know. |

has said that he is very busy, but that he will be working to finish the C7, which is very good, IMO.
I cant remember, but perhaps cunningham had a hand in the STSi.
