Re: Dino 246 'Daytona' insert seats.
Hi Jon,
Don't worry, the seats are great. In fact the quality of your work was what prompted me to help you out with the wheels. From the pictures you sent me it's obvious that you are doing an exceptional job on this model. Sure I will make the hole for the valve on the wheel, it's easy to do and will probably spare you time that you can use on other things. I'll also add the two areas with the Campagnolo and Dino writing (I'll see if I can add the text too, I'm not sure it will be possible to print it clearly given the small scale). I'll go see what are the sizes and the positions of the holes on the Fujimi hubs as I need to position the ones on the rims to the right place According to the hubs (I made the model based on the pictures of the real wheels). |

Re: Dino 246 'Daytona' insert seats.
I'm thinking to make the wheels look like the real ones.
In my opinion it is much more important to have the wheels look like the real deal than adapt them to the Fujimi Wheel hubs. Modifying the wheel hubs to fit the wheels is not very complicated and the work will be worth if the end result will be looking closer to the real wheels. |

Re: Dino 246 'Daytona' insert seats.
I would like to express my keen interest in these wheels! I have been contemplating this same conversion to a chairs and flares dino since many years ago and only stopped because of the wheels! Jano your design looks spot on!

I'll probably send the models to the printing service next week. I don't know how long it takes until I get the parts, but I'll keep you all updated. |

Re: Dino 246 'Daytona' insert seats.
Just to show that jano11 isn't the only one doing productive work on this thread, here's some progress from me too
There are some very obvious rough spots to be fixed and some detail needs to be refined but this seat is almost there. I'm not claiming it's perfect but I'm a whole lot more satisfied with this than I would be with the stock kit seats. Jon. |

I'm very interested in this thread and if anyone wants to market the wheels, count me in.
You might find this site interesting: http://www.dinorestoration.com/ Paul |

The seats look great especially the piping, very well done! I too would like a set of the wheels if you guys put it in production.

Re: Dino 246 'Daytona' insert seats.
Paul, that site is where I got just about all of my reference photos for my kit build. It's quite a restoration project isn't it??!! Still waiting for him to start restoring the second Dino though....

Cheesey: super!
Jano: hopefully you want to count me in in the Campagnolo's gang no matter the price. Several my Stratos are crying waiting your rims
