Question how fast is a probe

im looking at a 96' probe get so its a 6 cyl. i was wondering how fast it is and if it could outrun my 3000GT. probably a stupid Q but i dont know anything about probes.input would be awesome.

umm...i love probes but a twin turbo 3000gt would toast a pgt. a plain jane 3000gt would be a close race i guess. if you re big into aftermarket stuff the probe does have some potential...

Any mods to your probe? And do you have the ohc or the dohc?..and i hope to god you dont have the twin turbo and asking this question...

ive toasted a couple 3000 gt's but they wern't the twin turbo ones,then again im not stock either

i have a 93' 2.0 and it kicks ass off the line but its governor restricted at 110 mph.im not sure what a GT tops out at.its only got bout ten to fifteen more hp though and bout 15 ft.tq.

A stock GT is rated at 164HP / 160 ft-lbs tq. 0-60 in 7.5 sec

A stock Base / SE is rated at 118HP / 127 ft-lbs tq. 0-60 in 9.2 sec
