valve on fuel rail?

wheres the valve on the fuel rail? i have a 92 olds cutlass ciera with the 3.3 V6. There is a chrome colored thing that seemed to encase the fuel rail up until the fuel pressure regulator, as it wraps around back there is the bare fuel rail, then the chrome thing again. Is it underneath that? or Am i completely missing it? I wanted to check fuel pressure..

Re: valve on fuel rail?

The shrader valve you are looking for is on the end on one of the fuel rails, think its on the rear rail.
It should hav a metal cap over the valve, looks like a vavle for a tire/tube .

The Fuel PSI for you 3.3L should be around 28-36 psi (179-248 kPa).
