impreza legacy interchange performance parts...
Ok I know this is the impreza forum but looks like more posters are in here than the legacy...
I was wonder about parts interchange... will any parts interchange between the legacy and the impreza...I have searched and searched for a list of any and all parts interchanges... I searched for hours... Normally I would continue searching until I was happy with my findings... But I have found almost nothing.. Other than yes you can swap most ej series with most ej serieses most work would be the cross member swap... Any good sites for parts (performance) Such as headers, exhaust, intakes, The more the better.. I have found nothing for my 96 legacy other than "alot of impreza parts will interchange" well like what? Spark plugs.. well there are 4 so that may be alot of parts...... Anyhelp would be appreciated..... Also other than performance mods (header intake turbo's etc) what about the exterior..... Thanking any and all responces in advance |

Re: impreza legacy interchange performance parts...
Since the engines are the same from model to model, then engine parts that don't come in close contact with the body or frame should interchange. Things like plugs, wires, throttle bodies, intake manifolds, cams, short ram intakes, fuel rails, pulleys, flywheels, etc should interchange no problem, just make sure you're ordering parts for an impreza with the same engine as you have. Electronics are a bit trickier. Things like headers, CAI's, exhaust get questionable, and I couldn't give you an answer one way or the other besides that I'm guessing those things won't fit.
Exterior wise I'd be surprised if anything was interchangable. |
