Key Problem... Please Help.

Hey guys... If you could let me know if one key is used for everything (ignition, doors and trunk) or if there is supposed to be more than one, it would help me out a lot.

I just got a 96 Probe SE 2.0l a month ago and i cannot lock/unlock the doors or the trunk. But atleast the key I got works in the ignition, ...

Thanks for any help.

Yes, one key should work for all. Likely the ignition has been changed at some point. I had a car stolen from my front yard with the keys in it. They never recovered the keys when they found the car, so the insurance company replaced all of them. Perhaps you can find a car at the wreckers with the keys in it and take all the locks and just swap them over, a pain in the ass but not undoable. Good luck!

All right, thanks alot, much appreciated.

I feared I'd have to replace them. Oh well. Do you know of any "How-to-do's" on replacing the locks?
