What makes a car street legal?
I know a lot of Mods like Clutch level 5 make a car not street legal. And I know you have to downgrade the import so that the import can run on our watered down gas and our crap tree hugging emission laws, other then that what needs to be done to an Import to make it legal in america? :flash:

It has to comply with DOT, EPA, Customs, and NHTSA. Go read some of there sites, it will give you an idea of what you are looking for. You also have to be Regestered Importer(RI). Its not really cut and dry, a lot of legal paperwork, and work is what Sean had to do in order to import the Skyline.
At first I was like most eveyone, saying to myself that the Skylines are way over priced, but in order for compliance the gov't made it that way, not MOTOREX. He only works in small volume, so the prices have to be a little high. It comes right down to economics

Oh, so it a company's name for their racing clutch. I know of guys running racing clutchs on the street, they hate them, but its do able.
My clutch in my car is a pain, stop and go traffic my leg will start to cramp up because it takes about 40-50lbs of pressure to push it in. Its not that first time you push it in, its that 100th or 120th time you do it in 5 min during those English traffic jams.
