Attn: Snowboarder
Sorry to hear that your kit didn't work out too well. Now that you mention it, I ripped the blue decals when I tried to apply them, and thats why I ended up with the red (pink) ones on it. Did the air cleaner pieces give you alot of greif too? I've never tried a Tamia kit - are they very pricey? And, are they mainly import cars?

The intake/radiator gave me soooooo much trouble i almost threw it out. the stripes riped in about 3 different places so i just figured i would forego the whole racing stripes and just paint it all silver. now i am going to work on my mystery model and see how that works out. it will be my first tamiya, and it only cost me 11 bucks because my friends girlfriend works at a crafts store and got me a huge discount.

Best of luck with the mystery kit . Most of my kits are Revell Monogram, or AMT. Its just what's widely available up here. $20 USD seems pretty steep for me, as cringe to pay more than $15 Cdn. for one - unless it's a special kit. I don't build many Ferari's, as I like to build atainable cars - I have many Fords, Chevs, Dodges, but I do have a few Porches and Lambo's too. I have had kits that really piss me off, and mainly with fitment issues, or how the lights are designed to fit or not fit. Right now, I'm building a 99' Chevy Silverado, and I screwed up the lights by getting a blob of glue on it. Now, I have to sand it off, and paint all the lights black to look light GTS headlight covers.
