85 s10 blazzer 2.8, overheatk?
Changed temp stat, temp sensor. Still needle pegs. Mechanic says there's another sensor, fwd left on eng block. He called it the ecm sensor. Can't find it at parts store or online. What is it, will it fix prob.

The ECM sensor is for compter read out locaed in intake mainifold. It des not work tempt gauge. The sensor for gauge is in side of cylindr head. Un plug it and see if gauge drops all way down or up. If so replace sensor and see what the gauge does. Parts places should have it. If not try dealer. Tell them you want the one for the the gauge not the ecm.
