Arm Rest / Console Squeaky? Try THIS (Simple Fix)

So, after numerous occasions of being asked "what's that sound" and telling people it's my arm rest in my car, I finally decided to do something about it.

No more squeaks! Now that it's fixed, I love my car even more.

So, I decided to start looking into the problem, appears it's as simple as plastic rubbing plastic.

The total cost of this fix is $2.00~5.00, approx time is 45 seconds.
Result- timeless (or 10yrs as quoted from the foam tape)

What you need:
Foam Tape, make sure it's somewhat thin (look in the window/door insulation department of your local hardware store)
Scissors
Hands

So, as you can see, all you need to do is cut two 1 inch pieces to sit in the slots where plastic knobby things on the underside of the arm rest sit, and then a 3-4 inch piece for each side of the rear arm rest (depending how you lean on it while driving, it will make another noise).

I know this is a simple write up, but it's been driving me nuts for 8 months. I HOPE someone feels my pain, since this is something I hear everyday (or heard! )
